Long, nice weekend :)

Yesterday Chico and I went for a walk downtown.
His longest walk before was 3,5km, we did 5km yesterday.
I'm utterly proud of him, he at first did not understand where
all these people came from, he had difficulty keeping his head
straight at times, but he got used to it.

Chico is getting to be quite the guard dog...not that
it is a good thing since I'm not sure...well, I'm pretty
sure it's not because he feels the pressure of guarding
me or the house, but more that he knows he can bark
and it's something that he's not supposed to do.
As soon as I say NO, he quits, but I believe he's got a
loooooooooong way to go.

...I'm thinking my mind stayed behind in the US!

Yesterday I went to my dad's and Margret usually
before checks out the floors to see if there is anything
that Chico might want to chew on...goodness! what does
he not want to chew on!
So when I got there with him I was
not so nervous that he would choke on something that might
not get right in his throat...let alone something quite different
and far more dangerous! I JUST, cought him with something that
looked like a bean in his mouth and it was a pill that dad had dropped
the night before, his ten o,clock pill, main pill for the Parkinsons´s.
I dipped the poor thing in water and washed his mouth as I didn't
know how much he had licked that pill.
All went well.

He definately has the cutest butt in the whole wide world, but I simply
cannot tell you who has the most gorgeous butt in the UNIVERSE!!!

...I got to experience the amazing sight at night
in N.Y. from the 86th floor of Empire State Building.
North, east, south and west.
What an amaaaaazing thing to experience.

Now, don't think it was easy getting me up there, first
an elevator to the 80th floor(that only took 58sec!) and then another the last six.
The guys working there almost sent me back down,
noooooooooooo kidding.
BUT, I didn't give into my insecurities, fear or whatnot
and let go. Mind you I wasn't the best company, not willing/able
to talk, just walk.

New York is great, especially if you're into walking, it's easier said
than done to drive a car in the city.
But then big cities have their ups and indeed their downs.

When back to Iceland it was a frosty morning
but I didn't really feel it too much though coming from 20-25 stiga hita.
Not much turbulance, the plane was packed
and I sat next to this ...probably 16, 17 year old
"disser" with a cowboy hat. He sat next to his brother
and both behind, front and aside of us were his family.
I guess they went to Texas or som'n.
I was able to take a little nap, about half hour ish.
When landed...boy oh boy! planes from Boston, Minneapolis,
Florida, N.Y., BWI and Cuba. I have never seen such a crowd
there and in the duty free store were only two people on the
registers...GOODNESS! one would think they knew how many
were coming.

I was excited to see Chico but he was far too busy with everything
else :( now though he's all over me and back to himself...could it
be that he was punishing me... I've heard about that.

Ah, BWI, I had to pay $30 for two freaking kilo's...could have been
worse, could have been $75, or $100 for the two apples...
I decided to tell them what Ned told me about fat people,
the reason why they changed luggage rules, because people are
getting so fat. They couldn't stop laughing...
The "guy" said ..."next time someone comes and the plain is full
or something, I'll tell him, sorry, you're too fat!" and then he laughed
soooooooooo hard...ok, alveg rolegur!

Yesterday I had planned to go to work, didn't make it, went for a visit
with stuff to deliver and then back home to do looooooads and loads of
loundry...for some odd reason...

I used this morning for the first time sneakers I bought in MD, Nike
they are soooooooooooo soft and nice and comfy!
I ran three times faster than usual!!!...well, almost.
Kari Steinn my nephew won the IR hlaup, today was actually
a 100th year aniversary. He ran 5km on 15.33 min, pretty darn good!

Well, better get to some laundry...don't understand, seam to be washing
the same stuff over and over again...or something...

SVO kom...Svinakjot (rosa god steik!) og ja, ja, eg fekk mer sma af thvi, salat, braudbollur, kartoflurettur med kornflexi, annar rettur???, brokkoli og blomkal.
Med ollu thessu var svo rautt, hvitt, blush, gos og sukkuladi jardaber.
SVO eggjaleit og thar a eftir thrjar teg. af kokum sem eg thurfti ekki ad smakka... thvi thad
var rokid a naesta stad til Cassidy's. Thar var tittnefndur Starbucks java sukkuladi is med sukkuladibitum sem er out of this world! Skipst a gjofum, fadmlog, myndir, gardur og hlyja innan sem utan.

Svo a eftir ollu thessu var farid i Barnes and Nobles thar sem vid vorum adeins a undan aaetlun a Rams head. Thar vorum vid rett fyrir sjo og eftir pinu bid fengum vid bestu saetin UTI by the way :0) og eg fekk mer griskt salat med kjukling sem var frekar godur.
Flottur, skemmtilegur og ljufur dagur.

Eg hringdi i Chico og hann thefadi fyrst af mer, langt i lyktina ;)
eftir ad hann nadi thvi ad thetta var eg tha sagdi hann mer ad hann vaeri buinn ad hafa thad alveg agaett, hitta hunda sem eru thar a naesta bae.

112 fyrir hunda?

Eftir kínverskan á laugardaginn stóð í Chico og hann var nánast kafnaður!
Hann slagaði og ég fór beint í kokið á honum og fiktaði í mallanum...Goodness
hvað mér brá!

En, fór á tónleika á laugardaginn í Alþjóðahúsinu þar sem George, Dan the man Cassidy og Þórir voru að spila. Mjög gaman og notalegt, alltaf gaman að hlusta á góða tónlist flutta af góðum tónlistarmönnum.

merkur og 48 cm. Bæði Fríðu og Hildi heilsast vel. Fríða stóð sig eins og
hetja og er í skýjunum eins og faðirinn.
Stelpurnar koma heim í vikunni af spítalanum"
